Piping / Systems Engineering Coordinator

SYR are representing a prestigious client leading Super yacht re-fits, engaging in extraordinary projects that redefine luxury at sea. Key Responsibilities - Responsible for coordinating the design and engineering phase with key stakeholders such, ensuring integration with all other on-board disciplines. - Defines the complete scope and support the procurement, delivery, and upgrades of all vessel piping and technical systems, including methanol, HVAC, hydraulics, cooling, sewage, and related systems. - Ensure all systems are fully integrated meet class and flag requirements and are delivered in line with the project schedule. - Acts as the primary interface between engineering teams, subcontractors, classification societies, and production for all piping and systems matters. - Possibility to eventually support the production and installation, testing, and commissioning, while monitoring progress, resolving technical issues, and managing changes to maintain quality and integration. - Coordinate all piping and systems scope, including methanol, HVAC, hydraulics, cooling, sewage, and related systems but without the electricity. - Liaise with the Owner's team, exterior equipment suppliers , and engineering partners to ensure accurate integration of exterior systems. - Review and consolidate engineering drawings, technical documents, and subcontractor deliverables, highlighting discrepancies and driving resolution. - Manage interfaces between outfitting and adjacent disciplines (interior, systems, aluminium deckhouse structures). - Support procurement by preparing technical input, evaluating vendor proposals, and verifying compliance with project specifications. - Monitor the progress of detailed engineering and production, ensuring alignment with project milestones and budget. - Provide technical guidance during installation, testing, and commissioning of outfitting elements. Profile Requirements: Proven experience (5 years) in piping and systems coordination within the superyacht or high-end marine sector. Strong technical knowledge of piping and systems and integration. Skilled in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and 3D models. Excellent coordination and communication skills, with the ability to align multiple stakeholders. Proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-driven, with a strong sense of ownership. Fluent in English (written and spoken); French is a plus. Availability to be based in La Ciotat for the duration of the proj ect.
