Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Portfolio Assistant to provide administrative, accounts, and operational support to our property management team. The ideal candidate will be organised, efficient, and eager to learn, with the ability to manage multiple tasks while ensuring accuracy and professionalism at all times. Key Responsibilities Provide general administrative support to the Portfolio Manager and property team. Prepare and maintain documentation, contracts, and correspondence. Process accounts-related tasks, including capturing payments, reconciling statements, and following up on outstanding amounts. Assist with property-related queries and maintain tenant and landlord records. Liaise with service providers, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth operations. Maintain accurate filing systems (electronic and hard copy) for easy document retrieval. Assist with reporting, record-keeping, and general office duties as required. Key Requirements Matric (essential). Additional qualifications in administration, finance, or property management will be advantageous. Previous experience in property management or real estate (advantageous). Accounts experience, particularly in processing payments and reconciliations (advantageous). Strong organizational and time management skills. Attention to detail with high accuracy in administrative and financial tasks. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Valid drivers licence and own reliable vehicle (essential). Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
