Job Description

Facilities Manager Job Type: Permanent Location: East London Duties and Responsibilities: Building Condition Assessment Conduct and compile annual building condition reports. Identify repair, maintenance, or renovation needs. Provide initial cost estimates for required work. Compliance & Facilities Management Execution Maintain accurate Asset Registers and PPM schedules. Ensure timely execution of PPM services. Deliver integrated facilities management aligned with company strategy. Enforce work permit issuance and OH&S compliance. Manage service providers per SLAs. Adhere to ISO standards. Ensure emergency and disaster preparedness. Conduct regular property inspections. Facilities Services & Contractor Management Log and resolve service issues via Help Desk. Oversee fabric repairs, lighting replacements, and stock control. Coordinate maintenance and minor projects. Ensure job card sign-off after quality checks. Monitor SLA performance and report non-conformances. Maintain updated document libraries. Monthly Reporting Provide reports on various topics. Recommend cost and operational efficiency improvements. Tenant Installations & R&M Manage capex within budget. Compare costs to ensure cost-effectiveness. Oversee and sign off on R&M work. Qualifications: Certificates/Certification, Diplomas, Matric Skills: 3-5 years relevant experience, Intermediate technical knowledge, Understanding of Soft Services management, OHS Act, ISO 9001 Quality Management
