Finishing Foreman – Building Contractor (Cape Town)

A well-established medium to large building contractor in Cape Town is seeking a Finishing Foreman to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing finishing trades and ensuring high-quality standards are achieved on multi-storey building developments. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate finishing trades (carpentry, tiling, ceilings, painting, joinery, etc.) Ensure quality workmanship and attention to detail throughout all finishing phases Manage subcontractors and ensure project deadlines are met Conduct snagging and de-snagging inspections to ensure compliance with specifications Maintain site safety, cleanliness, and compliance with company policies Report progress to Site Manager and assist in resolving site challenges Requirements: Minimum 5 years experience as a Finishing Foreman in the building industry Strong track record on multi-storey residential and commercial projects Excellent knowledge of finishing trades, standards, and materials Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to deliver high-quality finishes within tight deadlines
