Job Description
The purpose of the role is to manage a portfolio of suppliers within a geographical area to deliver effective provision of multiple transportation services within defined geographical areas and be overall fully accountable for negotiating rates, terms and conditions with suppliers as well as monitoring the on-going commercial and operational performance of these services/suppliers. Developing and establishing relationships with the suppliers in a portfolio of transportation suppliers. Being able to negotiate the best possible conditions, ensuring the suppliers have a clear understanding of our value proposition and marketing tools to maximize their performance and competitiveness both in B2B and B2C. To deliver contracts across a geographical area, in line with internal contract cycle deadlines. The role is responsible for the end to end delivery of the contracts. Ensure all contracts meet internal governance, audit and compliance frameworks. Manage suppliers effectively, be the main point of contact within the geographical region for all commercial matters, contracts, promos, contract amendments etc. Support internal colleagues to ensure suppliers meet all health and safety requirements and deliver agreed SLAs. Source new product requests to ensure we offer full product coverage within the geographical area. Deliver a breadth of product in key gateways to ensure all our clients needs are met. Landscape gateways to ensure we are reviewing the competitive landscape within the gateway; both commercially and operationally. Accountabilities Responsible to sign the most competitive rates for Hotelbeds clients in B2B and B2C environment. Monitoring the Performance of each supplier working closely with the Pricing team to ensure competitiveness and availability is not an issue. Ensure the supplier has a clear understanding of Hotelbeds and its possibilities that enable us to work together to optimse revenue. Requirements Strong influencing and negotiation skills, thriving in the creation and maintenance of successful long-term commercial relationships with suppliers and other stakeholders Experienced with proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment Solid experience in negotiating agreements and conditions with suppliers Proven ability to build strong internal and external relationships with individuals and partners using an open and consultative approach Highly developed communication (both verbal and written) and presentation skills Solid experience and commercial knowledge of the travel & hospitality industries, key competitors, industry issues and related technology Experience 2 years experience as a contracts negotiator Previous experience of contracting and negotiation with suppliers Excellent in English spoken and written Travel Industry experience highly beneficial Language skills that support negotiation with partners Qualifications Excellent communication skills, in the local Language and English Excellent interpersonal skills and strong cultural versatility and empathy Passionate about customer satisfaction, with a personal commitment to organizational excellence High values with high standards of personal integrity Understanding of Channel managers Key Challenges Constant changes in the industry can be challenging to adapt to Big organization with constant changes in process for sourcing and in different departments that work together Communication is a challenge in a big company with centralized operations At HBX Group, we believe that diversity drives innovation and makes travel a force for good.
