Design Environment Lead – Northern France | Competitive Salary Package Overview We’re working with a major industrial organisation in Northern France to appoint a Design Environment Leader . This role is central to ensuring that environmental standards and compliance are embedded from the earliest stages of project design through to site management, helping deliver sustainable, future-proof industrial facilities. Key Responsibilities Integrate environmental compliance requirements into the design of large-scale installations. Implement environmental procedures and standards during the design phase. Carry out site audits and ensure site preparation aligns with environmental regulations. Apply project management methodologies to track and address environmental constraints. Work closely with permitting, licensing, and environmental representatives. Monitor and implement recommendations from regulatory updates and environmental watch. Qualifications & Experience Master’s degree in Environmental Management or Engineering. Minimum 3 years’ experience in technical or construction projects, with involvement in environmental design or operational site management. Solid knowledge of French and EU environmental regulations. Experience in environmental monitoring and measurement in industrial settings. Technical English skills (written and spoken). Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills, independence, and rigor
