In this role, you will work among engineering teams to develop cutting-edge software solutions. We are seeking a Technical Product Manager to work with various clients at our delivery center in Mexico. Our mission at Apex Systems is providing Insights that Inspire. As a Technical Product Manager you will help achieve that mission by giving our clients consultative guidance and technical expertise. Responsibilities: Requirement Analysis & Translation Collaborate with Product Managers to understand business needs and translate them into epics and user stories. Own the definition and refinement process, ensuring user stories are well-documented, acceptance criteria are clear, and prioritized for delivery. Carrier Integration & API Analysis Engage with carrier account teams to obtain, analyze, and interpret API documentation, implementation guides, and user acceptance testing materials. Perform API mapping and identify key differences between current and new integrations at the state or carrier level. Document changes and implications for engineering and QA in a structured, actionable format. Communicate effectively with stakeholders across Product, Business, Legal, and Marketing teams. Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Product, Architecture, Engineering, QA, and external carrier contacts. Proactively track open questions, risks, and decisions during functional requirement discovery and definition sessions. Scrum Team Support Participate in and/or facilitate Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and sprint planning. Support the scrum team by clarifying requirements and accepting completed stories. Ensure traceability from requirements through delivery and testing. Required Qualifications : Education: A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst in software delivery projects, preferably within the insurance domain or integration-focused environments. Proven experience writing epics, user stories, and detailed functional requirements. Strong hands-on experience working with APIs, including reviewing documentation, identifying data fields, and analyzing differences across versions or jurisdictions. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience supporting Scrum or Kanban teams. Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and follow-through. 4 years of experience with Agile Scrum Software Development Lifecycle activities and practices.
