Were looking for a highly organized and hands-on Site Manager to oversee the on-site construction of solar mounting systems across South Africa. Whether its a commercial rooftop, a solar carport, or a multi-megawatt ground mount, youll be at the forefront of delivering clean energy projectssafely, efficiently, and with technical precision. If you're a natural leader with a background in construction or solar installations, this is your opportunity to take ownership of impactful projects in the renewable energy sector. Key Responsibilities: Manage daily operations and teams on active solar construction sites. Oversee the installation of solar mounting structures (rooftop, ground mount, carport, and tracker systems). Coordinate civil works, material deliveries, and subcontractor activities. Enforce health and safety regulations, conduct toolbox talks, and maintain site compliance. Monitor construction progress and quality, ensuring that projects stay on schedule and within budget. Communicate regularly with Engineers, Project Managers, and clients. Maintain accurate site diaries, reports, and handover documentation. Job Experience & Skills Required: 35 years' experience in construction site management (solar or structural experience preferred). Strong understanding of civil and mechanical installation methods. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Knowledge of OHS regulations and construction site safety practices. Good communication and leadership skills. Valid drivers license and willingness to travel nationally. Construction management qualification or trade background is advantageous.
