Accountant

Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with IFRS. Prepare monthly management accounts. Handle invoicing, reconciliations, accounts payable & receivable, and cash flow reporting. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Prepare and submit VAT, PAYE, and other statutory returns. Support year-end audit processes and liaise with external auditors. Ensure proper internal controls and risk management procedures. Monitor and reconcile intercompany transactions. Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management. Contribute to process improvements within the finance function. Assist with costings for proposals. Requirements: Completed SAIPA articles. 12 years post-article experience. Mining or processing sector experience (advantageous). Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
