Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated LIMS Project Manager to join the eLIMS-NG Business Integration and Rollout (BnR) Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the target of business transformation projects and validating the IT organization and governance necessary to deliver this target. This includes benchmarking the existing applications, understanding and challenging business needs, building transition scenarios, communication, and end-user and stakeholder support. This role is crucial in ensuring that the system is utilized efficiently, meets the needs of the organization, and aligns with business objectives. Position & Objectives Lead the full LIMS implementation project lifecycle of multiple concurrent projects from initiation through completion Ensure timely and within-budget delivery of the LIMS project while meeting the functional requirements and quality standards Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders to align expectations and obtain buy-in Develop and maintain detailed project plans and timelines Identify potential risks and issues related to LIMS deployment and develop mitigation plans to minimize project disruptions Communicate project status, milestones, and deliverables to stakeholders Facilitate regular project meetings, maintain documentation and follow up on actions to maintain momentum Drive continuous improvement in project management processes Coordinate management of resources and tasks to ensure availability/continuity of all logistics, materials and technologies necessary as defined by scope-of-services Prepare, conduct and document lessons learned activities as a handover of project results for documentation Qualifications Experience: 5 years experience in Project management preferably with LIMS implementation Education: Bachelors degree in Life Sciences, computer science, statistics, mathematics or related field. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Leadership and Team Management: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, foster collaboration, and create a high-performance project environment. Skilled at assigning responsibilities, managing team dynamics, and motivating team members to meet deadlines and deliver quality results. Strategic Planning and Execution: Strong capability in defining project goals, developing comprehensive project plans, and aligning resources to meet business objectives. Experienced in balancing scope, schedule, and cost while delivering measurable outcomes. Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey project updates, risks, and benefits to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Adept at managing stakeholder expectations, facilitating meetings, and maintaining transparency throughout the project lifecycle. Risk Management and Problem Solving: Skilled in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating project risks to ensure minimal disruption. Demonstrates sound judgment and critical thinking to resolve issues quickly and effectively under pressure. Organizational and Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and deliverables concurrently. Highly proficient in setting and adjusting project schedules, tracking milestones, and ensuring timely completion of tasks. Process Improvement and Change Management: Experience in implementing continuous improvement initiatives and managing change in complex project environments. Skilled in promoting user adoption, managing resistance, and delivering training and documentation to support smooth transitions. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, MS Project, Azure DevOps). Capable of bridging the gap between business needs and technical execution. Adaptability and Resilience: Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities in dynamic environments.
