Provides technical support to operational teams. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities: Identifies manufacturing/engineering deficiencies and opportunities for improvement, proposes solutions. Responsible for test planning, cost reducing, innovation and improvement. Responsible for the electrical design of the products manufactured or designed in the HV Instrument Transformers (ITR) manufacturing plant located in Itajubá - Brazil. Guarantees product compliance with customer requirements and industry standards. Ensures that all technical documentation required for the manufacturing and sales of the products (drawings, bill of materials, instructions, manuals, material specifications etc.) is prepared in high quality, efficiently and in a timely manner. Participates in development of new products, improvement and customization of existing products. Works closely with unit and ITR departments involved in the development process. Provides technical support in the resolution of field problems. Provides technical guidance to suppliers, working closely with purchasing. Supports manufacturing on a daily basis. Supports the sales effort in the preparation of proposals and quotations, and the review of non-standard requirements. Required Qualifications Important Experience in High Voltage apparatus engineering Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. Advanced English for Communication Fluent in Portuguese Desired Characteristics Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, and execute programs. Experience in the field of instrument or power transformers is a plus Third language skills are of benefit, especially French.
