Job Purpose Hydraulic system engineer working on development of hydraulic systems for agricultural products produced in LATAM. Development life cycle is from initial design through product support in the field. Product lines include sugar cane harvester, combines and potentially other products. Key responsibilities Hydraulic system circuit design, sizing, layout and analysis. Creation of hydraulic component specifications for supplier market tests. Creation of validation plans, definition of hydraulic test methods and analysis of test data to ensure robust and accurate performance of hydraulic system designs. Working closely with suppliers and cross functional teams on resolution of quality and reliability issues. Definition and creation of hydraulic circuits and schematics. Typical activities include selection and sizing of components, circuit design, layout of hydraulic systems, project planning, cost evaluations, test planning, directing and making accurate release of system documentation, bill of materials and drawings. Communication and teamwork skills must be excellent as this role interfaces closely with a global team. Experience required Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering. Relevant hydraulic design experience or similar preferred. Experience with mobile equipment and agriculture industries Fluent in English and Portuguese. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Preferred qualifications Experience with CREO/Teamcenter.
