People Business Partner

We are recruiting for an experienced People Business Partner to join a well-established national organisation on a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. The role is to start ASAP until June 2026, This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional to step into a strategic and varied role, working as part of a supportive People team. The Role As a People Business Partner, you will: Support the integration and delivery of the People Plan across the business Coach and develop managers in HR and cultural competency, building confidence in people policies and processes Provide advice and guidance on ER matters including disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence management Support organisational change activity, including TUPE Lead on the development and embedding of the EDI strategy Partner with Learning & Development and Talent Acquisition teams to build leadership capability and meet resourcing needs Use people data and insights to influence leadership decisions and deliver commercially sound solutions Deliver HR projects with a focus on creating positive, people-centred outcomes The Person We’re looking for someone who is: CIPD Level 5 (or relevant experience) Pragmatic, collaborative, and a confident communicator who can influence at all levels Experienced in HR with strong knowledge of employee relations and UK employment law Skilled at working in fast-paced environments with a varied workload Analytical, able to translate people data into practical insights and actions A strong team player with excellent listening skills and the ability to build positive relationships IT proficient (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams) Salary & Benefits £45,672 £7,250 car allowance Private medical insurance Enhanced maternity/paternity pay Training and development opportunities Trade discounts from preferred suppliers Specsavers vouchers Please note this role is 100% office based
