Business Case Specialist - Healthcare Advisory Services - UK (flexible location) Currie & Brown, a global leader in construction and physical asset management consultancy, is looking for a Business Case Specialist to join our award-winning Healthcare Advisory Services team. You’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering NHS business cases for major hospital redevelopment and healthcare transformation programmes. Working alongside clinical, estates, and strategic teams, you’ll ensure cases are robust, evidence-based, and ready for approval, helping secure vital investment in the future of UK healthcare. What We’re Looking For Demonstrable experience leading or contributing to NHS business cases (SOC, OBC, FBC) in line with HM Treasury Green Book guidance Better Business Cases practitioner-level training (ideal) Strong knowledge of NHS capital investment processes and approvals (NHSE, DHSC, ICBs) Skilled in economic appraisal methods (cost-benefit, cost-effectiveness, MCA) Excellent writing and communication skills – able to turn complex inputs into clear, persuasive content Confident working with multidisciplinary teams and diverse stakeholders on large-scale programmes Awareness of NHS policy context (ICS priorities, Long Term Plan, New Hospital Programme) What You’ll Do Lead the drafting and coordination of NHS business cases across all stages Shape strategic, economic, financial, and management cases with multidisciplinary input Provide strategic advice to NHS clients and advisory teams Support approvals processes (NHSE, DHSC, ICB) Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying new opportunities Mentor junior colleagues in business case methodology and health capital planning What You’ll Receive Car allowance (depending on level) 25 days’ holiday (rising to 27 after 5 years) option to buy more 5% employer pension contribution Private medical cover £400 annual healthy living subsidy Paid professional subscription Interest-free season ticket loan Flexible, inclusive working culture Global career mobility opportunities Why Join Currie & Brown?
