To learn more about us, click here. About the Role: This position is located in Glenwillow, Ohio. Job Summary: We are seeking an Application Engineer to join our team. This exciting new role will have a significant focus on new markets and new product development and deployment. Responsibilities: TECHNICAL: Lead the technical interaction aspects of the sales cycle. Help create and present product presentations and materials for customers. RELATIONSHIP: Develop personal relationships and rapport with technical influencers at key customers and act as a trusted technical advisor to influence customer decisions. Support sales team with uncovering differentiated product opportunities. NEW PRODUCTS: Provide technical support for the assessment, development and implementation of new products. Help differentiate our products and solutions from our competition. Partner with end users to bring customer specific innovations and new products to market. Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Materials preferred) At least 2-3 years of related experience required Tech-savvy and comfortable using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and other digital platforms to collaborate, analyze, and communicate effectively. Required Skills/Abilities: Experience in polymers, cable, or extrusions is also a plus, with the ability to understand wire and cable processes. Strong communication and presentation skills. Able to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences. Experience working with OEM’s and multiple stakeholders. Experience in the Energy or Data Center markets is a plus.
