Travel Nurse RN - Home Health - $2,306 per week in Stockbridge, GA

Responsible for the competent application of the nursing process. Reports directly to the Clinical Manager. Supervises and evaluates Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses/Licensed Vocational Nurses. Must have reliable transportation, a current driver's license, and agency-required liability insurance. Conducts home visits and attends periodic office meetings. Average number of patients per day is 5-8. Each visit and activity, such as documentation and travel, holds a different point value. Contractors will be assigned between 5-10 patients per day, equating to roughly 6-8 points. Types of cases include start of care, wound care, follow-up visits, and more. Must be willing to travel up to 75 miles from the assigned care center. Mileage will be reimbursed at the IRS standard rate. Travelers are compensated for visits from one patient home to another. Commute to and from the first and last patient are not billable. Must be proficient with HomeCare HomeBase and Oasis. Documentation must be completed within 24 hours of appointments. Delayed and incomplete documentation impacting billing and follow-up patient care will affect the assignment. Clinician must understand there are no guaranteed hours. Weekly productivity expectations are a minimum of 30 points, which equates to 40 hours per week. All overtime must be pre-approved. If a clinician is not receiving enough patients each week, they will have the opportunity to float to another nearby clinic to pick up patients.
