This role is critical in preparing accurate cost estimates for ship repair projects, helping to ensure profitability and smooth project execution. The successful candidate will analyse repair requirements, liaise with technical and production teams, and prepare detailed quotations for clients. Previous experience in ship repair estimating or project management is essential. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare accurate cost estimates for ship repair projects, including labour, materials, and subcontractor costs. • Liaise with technical, production, and commercial teams to gather information for estimates. • Analyse project specifications, drawings, and client requirements. • Maintain databases of historical costs, suppliers, and subcontractors. • Support project managers with budgeting and cost control. • Contribute to process improvements to enhance estimating accuracy and efficiency. Requirements: • Previous experience as a Ship Repair Estimator or in a similar role within the marine/shipyard industry. • Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills. • Fluency in English required; Spanish language skills highly preferred. • Good IT skills, including MS Office • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. • Eligible to work in the EU.
