Maintenance Engineer (Leader)

Objective Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of production equipment through the implementation and continuous improvement of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies. Lead the team of engineers and technicians to guarantee process standardization, KPI compliance, and operational support, contributing to the plant’s stability and competitiveness. Main Responsibilities Develop Basic and Detailed Engineering to improve equipment conditions and performance Redesign and calculations for Spare Parts Recovery in Central Blocks Workshop Spare parts and materials engineering to eliminate chronic failures in components and equipment Generate and participate in activities for ACRs on equipment with the highest failure incidence Generate and provide technical support for new items in the Critical Equipment Warehouse Support with engineering studies to solve problems related to hydraulic leaks, sand, and compressed air Perform equipment performance audits based on OEM standards and propose improvement plans Support the development and updating of special methods for Maintenance personnel Register, control, and monitor equipment with limited capacity (CRPL) Propose design solutions for components and equipment issues that impact MTBF/MTT Develop and update Routines for Mechanical and Electrical personnel on shifts Complement activities in Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Plans to increase reliability Select and specify equipment and materials to solve capacity problems, ensure proper application, and extend service life Research and obtain support from technology firms to adapt equipment to process needs and environmental conditions. Position Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering. Strong knowledge: 5years in Aluminum Handling, Operations, Maintenance Planning & Control Manufacturing Industry. Technical Competences: TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), Design and Interpretation of Technical Drawings, Supply Chain / Value Chain Soft Competences: Conflict Management Communication, Negotiation, Decision making, Leadership. Language: English (full bilingual proficiency)
