Electrical Technician

Minimum requirements: Trade-tested Electrician or Millwright (electrical bias) 23 years industrial maintenance experience in FMCG (food or related products preferred) Exposure to manufacturing machinery and fast-paced environments. Key Responsibilities Install and maintain electrical wiring, motors, drives, and control panels. Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults (e.g., wiring, sensors, relays, fuses, VSDs). Support installation of new equipment (wiring, sensor setup, motor connections). Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical components. Use diagnostic tools (multimeter, clamp meter) to isolate faults. Liaise with automation contractors for PLC-related support. Follow safe electrical practices and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. Required Skills & Competencies Strong industrial electrical skills: wiring, panels, and motor controls. Familiar with sensors, switches, relays, and VSDs. Fault-finding ability in fast-moving production environments. Willingness to learn basic PLC input/output checks. Safety-conscious and detail-oriented.
