Site Supervisor - Canning Town, London

Job Title: Site Supervisor – Fit-Out Projects Location: Canning Town, London Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Site Supervisor to join our team on an exciting fit-out project in Canning Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fit-out works, along with specific experience in the construction of transport buildings, including bus and train stations. You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations on-site, ensuring that all activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate all site activities, ensuring the project runs smoothly. Lead site inductions and ensure compliance with health & safety regulations. Oversee subcontractors and tradesmen, ensuring work is completed to the required quality and within deadlines. Monitor project progress, update management, and handle any on-site issues. Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, risk assessments, and method statements. Collaborate with project managers to ensure that the work complies with specifications, quality standards, and timelines. Manage on-site logistics and ensure the site is safe and well-organised at all times. Conduct regular site inspections and audits. Requirements: Valid SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) or SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification. Proven experience in fit-out works and refurbishment projects. Previous experience working on transport buildings (bus and train stations) is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices. Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Proficient in site management and project delivery.
