Senior Quantity Surveyor - High Rise

About the Company We are working with a leading main contractor with a strong track record of delivering complex, high-value construction projects across the UK. With a growing pipeline of landmark high-rise projects, they are looking to strengthen their commercial team with an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor. The Role As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of multi-million-pound high-rise projects. Working closely with the Commercial Manager and wider project team, you will ensure cost control, accurate reporting, and commercial leadership throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities * Oversee all commercial and contractual aspects of high-rise construction projects. * Prepare and manage budgets, cost plans, valuations, and variations. * Negotiate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to secure best value. * Produce accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. * Lead and mentor junior surveyors, promoting best practice within the team. * Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, company policies, and industry standards. About You * Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within a main contracting environment. * Strong track record working on high-rise residential or commercial developments (ideally £20m). * Excellent knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts. * Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills. * Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (or equivalent experience). * Membership of RICS (desirable but not essential).
