Project Quantity Surveyor – Thurrock / Grays | New-Build Process Plant Project: New-Build Process Plant We’re seeking an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor delivering a major new-build process plant in Thurrock. The project involves extensive civils and reinforced concrete (RC) works, offering a fantastic opportunity to play a key role on a high-value, complex build. This is an urgent requirement, and interviews will be arranged immediately for suitable candidates. Key Responsibilities Manage cost control, forecasting, and budgeting across the project lifecycle. Prepare, negotiate, and agree sub-contract orders and variations. Oversee valuations, payments, and final accounts. Liaise with project teams to ensure financial performance and project delivery targets are met. Ensure compliance with contractual and commercial requirements. Support senior management in reporting project costs and risks. Requirements Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification. Minimum 3 years’ experience working on civils / RC frame packages. Proven track record managing project-level commercial responsibilities. Excellent knowledge of NEC or JCT forms of contract.
