Our client is a high-growth European AI company redefining global communication through advanced language technology. Their cutting-edge tools help businesses and individuals communicate seamlessly across borders. Today, their products are used by over 100,000 companies, from fast-growing start-ups to some of the biggest names in tech, media, and consumer goods. The Role They’re looking to hire a Senior Product Counsel to focus on product development, AI regulation, and wider AI law. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with the GC, CTO, technical teams, and some of the world’s top AI experts. You’ll be joining a business that has built its own in-house LLM and is operating at the frontier of the AI space. Key Responsibilities Advise on AI-related legal issues, including the EU AI Act, copyright, IP, IT, and competition law Support cross-functional projects involving product development, commercial, and research teams Help build compliance frameworks, policies, and processes aligned with evolving AI regulations What They’re Looking For Qualified lawyer with a strong academic record 6–10 PQE, ideally gained in both private practice and in-house Solid experience working closely with product teams Strong interest in AI and emerging tech regulation Comfortable in a fast-moving, high-growth environment Package £120K–£135K base Equity options 30 days holiday public holidays International travel opportunities 20 additional benefits If you're interested in finding out more, drop me a note or give me a call: Ben@heriotbrown.com | 07511 518 834
