Mechanical Project Manager – Kings Cross, London Salary: £90,000 Travel Expenses Sector: Commercial CAT A & B Fit-Out Start Date: Within 1 Month One of London’s leading M&E contractors is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their commercial projects team, delivering high-spec CAT A and CAT B fit-out schemes. This role is based on a flagship project in Kings Cross, with long-term work secured and a strong pipeline ahead. The Role: As the Mechanical Project Manager, you’ll take full ownership of project delivery, acting as the lead from pre-construction through to handover. You will manage budgeting, planning, site coordination, and client communication, ensuring smooth execution and high-quality outcomes. Key Responsibilities: * Lead mechanical delivery on CAT A/B commercial fit-out projects * Manage project budgets, timelines, procurement, and quality control * Coordinate with in-house teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders * Act as the main client interface, attending progress meetings and providing updates * Ensure compliance with design specifications, H&S regulations, and company standards * Drive progress to meet milestones and successfully deliver to programme Requirements: * Proven experience as a Project Lead on mechanical fit-out projects (CAT A/B) * Strong understanding of mechanical building services and systems * Experience in budgeting, procurement, and commercial awareness * Client-facing with excellent communication and leadership skills * Background with Tier 1 or major M&E contractors preferred * SMSTS, CSCS, and relevant qualifications required What’s On Offer: * Competitive salary of £90,000 * Travel expenses fully covered * Opportunity to work on a landmark London project * Join a market-leading contractor with consistent pipeline and growth * Career progression in a professional, supportive environment
