Interim Procurement Manager – Defence Sector Are you an experienced Contract Procurement Manager with a solid background in Defence procurement ? We're looking for sharp, strategic professionals who can manage complex contracts and procurement processes in a high-stakes environment. About the Role: As a Contract Procurement Manager, you’ll play a critical role in delivering value across major defence projects. You will lead procurement strategy, supplier engagement, contract negotiation, and risk management in accordance with government and defence regulations: Lead end-to-end procurement and contract management activities for defence projects Draft, negotiate, and manage complex contracts and subcontracts Ensure compliance with UK MoD/Defence procurement standards (e.g., DSPCR, DEFFORMs) Manage supplier relationships and performance Provide strategic sourcing solutions and support commercial decision-making Requirements: Proven experience in defence procurement/contract management (MoD, defence primes, etc.) Strong understanding of public procurement regulations and frameworks Experience with single-source procurement and tools like SSRO Excellent negotiation, stakeholder, and supplier management skills SC or DV clearance is highly desirable (or ability to obtain) Emily.cross@Arguilesearch.com | 0161 445 3947
