Our client is a leader in the equipment hire industry and is experiencing significant growth. As a Yard Operative, you’ll play an important role in the team, helping to carry out daily tasks that ensure the warehouse runs safely and efficiently. What do you need? * Experience working in a yard and or warehouse capacity * A positive, can-do attitude * An understanding of health and safety practices * The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team * Reliability and good timekeeping Your responsibilities will include: * Cleaning and preparing equipment and machinery for hire * Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries * Safely load and unload goods from trucks or other vehicles * Keeping the yard clean, organised, and safe * Supporting engineers and drivers when needed * Following all health and safety procedures The following is desirable: * A valid forklift licence * Experience with powered access or plant machinery
