Temporary Assistant Site Manager – Residential Development (Mid Devon) Duration: 6–8 weeks Start Date: Immediate / ASAP Company: Regional Residential House Builder We are seeking a Temporary Assistant Site Manager to join our team on a busy residential housing development in Mid Devon. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced construction professional to support the smooth delivery of a high-quality project for a respected regional house builder. Key Responsibilities: * Support the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the site. * Supervise trades and subcontractors to ensure work is completed on time, safely, and to the required quality standards. * Monitor health & safety compliance, carrying out site inductions and inspections. * Assist with scheduling, materials management, and maintaining progress reports. * Liaise with clients, suppliers, and the wider project team as required. Requirements: * Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager (residential housing background preferred). * Strong knowledge of construction processes and health & safety standards. * Excellent organisational and communication skills. * Ability to manage subcontractors and maintain high standards of quality. * Valid CSCS card required; SMSTS/SSSTS and First Aid desirable.
