Carpentry foreman

Holiday Cover - Friday 22nd Aug- Finishing Monday 1st Sept The Shore Group is recruiting on behalf of one of our longstanding office fit-out clients who are currently delivering a high-profile firestopping upgrade project across a commercial building in Central London. We are seeking an experienced Carpentry Foreman to take the lead on-site, ensuring quality installation, health & safety compliance, and smooth coordination between the team and site management. Key Responsibilities: * Supervise and coordinate carpentry teams on firestopping works * Interpret drawings and ensure correct installation of fire-rated partitions, doors, and seals * Liaise with main contractor/site management to report progress and resolve issues * Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety on site * Carry out hands-on work when required ✅ Requirements: * Proven experience as a Carpentry Foreman or Lead Carpenter on commercial fit-out projects * Strong understanding of firestopping regulations and installation requirements * SSSTS/SMSTS (preferred) * NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry (or equivalent) * Valid CSCS card * Excellent communication and leadership skills
