This is a key role in the business, perfect for a Contracts Manager who enjoys leading multiple schemes, managing teams, and driving performance across programme, cost, and quality. With all work based in or around Hertfordshire, this is a great move for a Contracts Manager who’s tired of the London commute. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee 2–4 live projects simultaneously as Contracts Manager * Chair pre-start, progress, and client meetings * Manage and mentor Site Managers, Project Managers, and subcontractors * Ensure commercial performance and client satisfaction * Report into senior leadership as a trusted Contracts Manager on high-value jobs Project Snapshot: * Typical project values: £2m – £10m * Sectors: Commercial, Healthcare, Retail, Defence * Contract types: JCT & NEC * Location: All projects are Hertfordshire-based – no Central London travel What You’ll Need: * Proven experience as a Contracts Manager (or Senior Project Manager ready to step up) * Background in both new build and refurbishment * Strong commercial and contractual knowledge (NEC & JCT) * Leadership skills to drive team delivery and client relationships * A clear track record of success as a Contracts Manager on multi-million-pound schemes Package: * Salary up to £80,000 * Travel allowance / company car * Bonus scheme full benefits package * Structured onboarding and ongoing development for the right Contracts Manager This is an excellent opportunity for a Contracts Manager who wants to join a profitable, low-churn contractor with an excellent reputation for delivery and a no-nonsense culture
