Electrical Estimator – Commercial Fit Out London & South East | £50,000 – £75,000 per annum Smaller projects. Faster pace. Full involvement. This is an opportunity to join a well-regarded and steadily growing electrical contractor specialising in CAT A and CAT B commercial fit out. Operating for over 16 years, the company has built a reputation for delivering fast-track design and build projects typically valued up to £1.5 million across the London commercial office market. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Estimator with a strong background in commercial office fit out to take ownership of the tendering process from initial enquiry through to submission. Why this role * Established contractor with a strong reputation in the commercial fit out sector * Projects typically range from £250k to £1.5m across CAT A/CAT B environments * Hands-on role with full exposure to the design and pre-construction process * Opportunity to work in a fast-moving business where your input directly impacts outcomes * Competitive salary based on experience, with long-term progression available Key responsibilities * Manage the full tender process for electrical packages on fast-track D&B office fit out projects * Review tender documents, design drawings, specifications and client requirements * Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes and lead times * Use estimating software to produce accurate and commercially sound pricing * Assist with site surveys and review allowances in line with project scope * Contribute to electrical design and value engineering discussions * Provide follow-up and post-tender support where required * Maintain close working relationships with clients, consultants and the in-house project team What we're looking for * Proven experience working as an Electrical Estimator within a building services or specialist electrical contractor * Strong knowledge of CAT A/CAT B commercial fit out projects up to £1.5 million * Ability to interpret design drawings and collaborate on D&B schemes * Good commercial awareness and understanding of project programmes and delivery risks * Confident communicator, capable of working independently and under pressure The package * £50,000 – £75,000 depending on experience * Long-term opportunity with a growing, well-structured contractor * Exposure to full design and estimating cycle across varied, fast-track projects If you have a background in electrical estimating and enjoy the pace and precision of commercial fit out, this role offers the chance to play a key part in a business that values attention to detail, technical capability, and professional integrity.
