Commercial Lawyer (Public Sector) (fully remote or hybrid options available in Wales) 6-month contract (with likely extension up to 24 months) £58,918 starting salary (non-negotiable, rising to £70,450 over 3 years) We’re looking for an experienced Commercial Lawyer (min. 3 years PQE) to join a major public sector legal team at a critical time in UK and Welsh affairs. This is an opportunity to work on nationally significant projects , advising on complex commercial matters and shaping the legal framework behind major public investments. Why this role? At least 3 years’ post-qualification experience . Strong experience in one or more of: commercial contracts, grants, debt/equity financing, security documents, corporate governance, public/private partnerships. Able to meet the requirements of an extensive onboarding and security clearance process . Key details Contract: 6 months initially , with strong potential to extend up to 24 months . Salary: £58,918 (non-negotiable, rising with tenure). Closing date: 19 September 2025, 4pm . Security clerarance process will be required before commencement of the role
