Contract Manager

Salary: Circa £48,000 Company Car/Allowance About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager with a strong background in painting and decorating to join our team in the Leicester area. This role could suit someone who’s previously worked as a working foreman and has stepped up into management, or a seasoned contracts manager well-versed in overseeing painting projects. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee and manage painting and decorating contracts from start to finish, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. * Coordinate with clients, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction. * Conduct site visits to monitor progress, maintain quality control, and enforce health and safety regulations. * Manage resources effectively, including labour, materials, and equipment, to ensure efficient project delivery. * Handle any issues that arise on-site and provide effective solutions to keep projects on track. Requirements: * Proven experience in painting and decorating, ideally with some experience in a supervisory or management role. * Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members. * Familiarity with health and safety standards in the construction or painting industry. * A valid UK driving licence is essential
