Design Manager

Are you a Design Manager looking for the next step in your career? We are looking for an experienced Design Manager to join a reputable engineering consultancy, in a 12-month contract position, outside IR35. You will be required to work full time on site in Worthing. This is a great opportunity to work on a range of, pharmaceutical, Infrastructure and Data Centre projects. -Competitive hourly rate ranging from £60-£65 (depending on experience). Key Responsibilities: -Manage Stage 5 design deliverables for timely, quality supply chain submissions. -Implement and align SCS design processes, resolving deviations. -Coordinate with Stage 5 suppliers and SCS Design Integrator on queries and collaboration. -Ensure designs prioritize maintenance, safety, welfare, and compliance. -Collaborate with quality, engineering, and delivery teams for efficient results. -Support commercial team with cost reconciliation and subcontract management. What we are looking for: -Degree or professional qualification in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field. -Experience in MEP design management with knowledge of relevant standards. -Proven large-scale design environment experience. -Able to work independently and in teams. -Familiar with Construction and Design Management Regulations 2015. -Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related software
