Engineer – £30M Hospital Refurbishment (SE1, London) Tier 1 Main Contractor | 18-Month Programme Remaining We’re working with a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor who are seeking an Engineer to join the team on a £30M refurbishment project at a well-known hospital in SE1, London. The project still has around 18 months left to run and offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Engineer to step into a pivotal role within a lean but highly capable delivery team. The Role * Reporting directly to senior management with one Graduate Engineer under your supervision. * Supporting site delivery, ensuring works are set out and recorded correctly – you may be required to get hands-on with setting out where necessary. * Working closely with the Project Director and site team, gaining exposure to both technical and management responsibilities. * Opportunity to develop towards package management and eventually project management, with mentorship available. Ideal Candidate * Likely 2–5 years’ post-graduate experience with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor. * Background in refurbishment or healthcare projects would be advantageous (though not essential). * Ambitious, proactive, and keen to grow into management roles in the near future. * Strong communicator with the ability to work effectively within a lean project team.
