Job Title: Road Freight Operator Location: Royal Leamington Spa, Warwickshire Salary: £32,000 - £36,000 (DOE) About the Role We are on the lookout for an experienced Road Freight Forwarder with Import and Export experience to join our industry leading client in Leamington Spa . This role involves handling predominantly Road freight operations from Start to Finish . The ideal candidate will ensure all shipments comply with UK and international customs regulations. Key Responsibilities Process Import and Export operations for Road Freight. Quoting and Pricing, ensuring best rates are secured Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and customs requirements. Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, and government agencies. Manage customs documentation and duty/VAT calculations. Stay up to date with, CNS, Destin8, Cargowise, CDS, CHIEF, and industry regulations. Provide customer updates and resolve customs-related queries. Key Requirements Previous experience as a Road Freight Specialist in freight forwarding or logistics. Strong knowledge of Import or Export trailer services Have an understanding of custom procedures Have the ability to negotiate with subcontractors Be able to communicate with oversea partners effectively Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
