Lawyer Location: Orchard Street, Lincoln, LN1 1YL Start Date: ASAP Contract Duration: 3 Months Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 09:00 – 17:00, 37 Hours per week Pay Rate: £ 20.85 per hour Job Ref: OR12950 Job Responsibilities Handle a comprehensive range of local government commercial conveyancing work. Manage landlord and tenant matters, primarily under the 1954 Act. Oversee the sale and purchase of land transactions. Potential involvement in some residential conveyancing, excluding Right to Buy (RTB) cases. Collaborate effectively within a remote working environment, with an initial expectation of spending one or two full days in the office, followed by visits every three to four weeks. Person Specifications Proven experience in commercial conveyancing within a local government context. Strong understanding of landlord and tenant legislation, particularly the 1954 Act. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a remote setting. Willingness to travel to the office periodically as required.
