Contract Job Opportunity – Electrical Project Manager (Data Centre) Location: Milton Keynes ⏳ Start: 2–4 weeks Duration: 12 months (Phase 1) – 2 to 3 further phases planned We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join a leading General Contractor delivering a large-scale Data Centre project in Milton Keynes. This is a long-term contract role, initially covering Phase 1 (12 months), with potential to extend across multiple phases. Role Responsibilities * Oversee and manage electrical packages, including: * Containment systems * Power distribution * UPS systems * Lighting, small power, earthing & bonding * Other associated electrical services for mission-critical facilities * Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to ensure works are delivered to programme, budget, and quality standards * Ensure compliance with health & safety, site regulations, and client requirements * Liaise with stakeholders including design teams, consultants, and client representatives * Manage technical submittals, method statements, and quality assurance processes Ideal Candidate Profile ✅ Strong experience managing electrical packages on Data Centre or mission-critical projects ✅ Previous role(s) with a General Contractor (GC) or Tier 1 subcontractor ✅ Solid technical knowledge of UPS, LV systems, generators, distribution boards, and containment ✅ Understanding of commissioning processes and integration with MEP services ✅ Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills ✅ Full UK driving licence (site based role in Milton Keynes) Qualifications (desirable) * HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) * SMSTS / SSSTS * Black ECS Card Package * CIS Payments Only to Personal Accounts * Long-term pipeline of work across 2 to 3 phases Please send CV for immediate response
