Site Manager

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to take full ownership of a prestigious new build apartment scheme in Cheltenham. The development will deliver 74 high-quality flats as part of a £10 million project and requires a stand-alone manager to run the project from start to finish. The Company The contractor is a well-established UK housebuilder and developer, known for delivering innovative, design-led residential and mixed-use schemes across the country. With a strong reputation for creating high-quality homes in both city and suburban settings, they have a proven track record of delivering award-winning projects that blend thoughtful design with sustainability and community focus. The Role As Site Manager, you will be responsible for: * Overseeing the project from groundworks through to completion. * Managing day-to-day site operations including subcontractors, programme, quality, and health & safety. * Leading site inductions, ensuring compliance with H&S regulations, and maintaining a safe working environment. * Driving progress to meet build schedules, ensuring the project is delivered on time and to specification. * Coordinating with design, commercial, and technical teams to resolve issues efficiently. * Acting as the No.1 on site, reporting directly to senior management. Requirements * SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid (essential). * Proven track record as a stand-alone Site Manager on residential apartment projects. * Strong leadership and organisational skills. * Experience managing projects from start to handover. * Excellent knowledge of health & safety and quality standards.
