Painting Supervisor

Our client, a leading painting subcontractor specialising in high-end and super prime residential developments, is seeking a confident and experienced individual to oversee some of London’s most prestigious interiors. From heritage refurbishments to cutting-edge contemporary homes, every project is unique — utilising the finest materials and finishes available on the market. Based exclusively in Central and West London, you’ll be part of a team that delivers excellence, precision, and artistry on every brushstroke. Role Overview Reporting directly to the Senior Contracts Manager, you’ll take full ownership of your assigned projects, managing a team of directly employed painters and ensuring works are delivered to the highest standards, on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities * Lead and supervise daily site operations across multiple residential projects * Coordinate labour, materials, and schedules to ensure seamless delivery * Conduct quality checks and ensure all finishes meet client expectations * Liaise with site managers, architects, and interior designers to align on specifications * Maintain health & safety compliance and site cleanliness * Provide hands-on support and guidance to painters when required * Monitor progress and report updates to the Senior Contracts Manager * Assist with snagging, touch-ups, and final presentation of completed works * Manage stock levels and ensure timely ordering of specialist materials * Uphold the company’s reputation for excellence and discretion in super prime environments Ideal Candidate * Proven experience supervising painting teams on high-end residential projects * Strong knowledge of luxury finishes, specialist paints, and decorative techniques * Excellent communication and leadership skills * Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications * Meticulous attention to detail and pride in delivering flawless work * CSCS card and SSSTS/SMSTS certification preferred What’s on Offer * Competitive salary: £45,000 – £50,000 per annum * Comprehensive package including and pension * Opportunity to work on some of London’s most exclusive homes * Supportive team culture with long-term career progression If you’re ready to bring your expertise to a company that values craftsmanship and precision, then apply with a CV today
