Estimator

An excellent opportunity is now available for an Estimator to join a well-respected Groundworks Contractor based in Livingston. The company have been operational for over 50 years and offer a range of services including bulk earthmoving, road and street lighting, civil engineering and more. You will be joining an excellent team of professionals who will provide support and any training required to the successful individual. This role would suit an experienced Groundworks Estimator or a Site Engineer looking to move into an office-based role. Responsibilities: * Analyse plans, bills of quantities and project documentation to estimate costs. * Evaluate tender requirements and specifications in bid preparation. * Research and negotiate best prices and quotes. * Work closely with key members of the project team and liaise with clients and suppliers. * Liaise closely with supply chain. * Keep detailed record and reports. Required: * Groundworks Estimator experience – minimum 3 years Remuneration: * Salary – DOE * Annual bonus * Car, van or allowance * Private health care * Company pension scheme
