Senior Architectural Technician Location: Hertfordshire Salary : £35-45,000 A leading, design-focused architectural practice is seeking a highly skilled Senior Architectural Technician to join their dynamic team in Hertfordshire. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative projects across a wide range of sectors, with a strong emphasis on quality, creativity, and technical excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing detailed technical drawings, coordinating with consultants and contractors, and ensuring compliance with building regulations and industry standards. They will play a pivotal role in delivering projects from concept through to completion, with a focus on precision, constructability, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Preparing and managing high-quality technical drawings and documentation. Collaborating with architects, designers, and external consultants. Leading technical coordination across multiple disciplines. Ensuring compliance with planning, building regulations, and health & safety requirements. Supporting project delivery at all stages, including site coordination and problem-solving. Mentoring junior staff and contributing to best practice within the technical team. Requirements: Proven experience as a Senior Architectural Technician within an architectural or design-led environment. A degree or an HNC/HND in Architectural Technology Excellent proficiency in Revit Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and detailing. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with accuracy and efficiency. Excellent communication and organisational skills. A proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork.
