Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor Location: Plymouth Employment Type: Full-Time / Permanent Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 Are you a Quantity Surveyor in the Plymouth area looking to take the next step in your career? Sphere Solutions are working with a rapidly expanding regional contractor to enhance their commercial team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of refurbishment and small new build ranging from £100k to £2Million, across sectors including Education, Defence, Healthcare, Retail, and more. Key Responsibilities: As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, your typical day will include: * Managing a small team, consisting of a trainee QS & two buyers. * Sub-contractor management to ensure smooth project delivery. * Valuations of work completed and costs incurred. * Material take-offs for accurate costing and procurement. * Ad-hoc commercial duties as needed on various projects. * Management of final accounts to ensure projects are delivered within budget. Suitable Candidate / Qualifications: * Proven experience as a QS/SQS working on refurbishment schemes. * Proven longevity in previous roles. * CSCS card for site access and safety. * Residing within a commutable distance to Plymouth. * A full driving license to travel to sites across the Devon & Cornwall region.
