Mechanical Project Manager

Job Title: Mechanical Project Manager Location: London Employment Type: Permanent Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 Benefits About the Role: We are working alongside a well-established mechanical contractor who are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their expanding team in London. The company specialises in delivering high-quality CAT A and CAT B commercial schemes across Central London, with a strong turnover of £40 million and a portfolio of prestigious blue-chip clients. Following several recent project wins, the business is undergoing a large recruitment drive and this role presents an excellent opportunity to join a contractor with a solid pipeline of projects and a strong reputation in the market. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee the full delivery of mechanical packages on CAT A/B commercial projects. * Manage and track finances, including cost control, variations, and forecasting. * Lead procurement activities, ensuring materials and plant are delivered on time and within budget. * Draft and respond to RFIs and manage all project correspondence effectively. * Oversee subcontractors, ensuring quality, safety, and programme compliance. * Write and manage detailed site programmes, tracking progress against key milestones. * Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes. * Ensure strict compliance with health & safety and industry standards at all times. Requirements: * Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager, ideally on CAT A/B commercial schemes. * Strong knowledge of mechanical building services systems. * Demonstrated experience in finances, procurement, RFIs, subcontractor management, and programme writing. * Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills. * Relevant industry qualifications (HNC/HND/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent).
