Accounts Administrator - Civil Engineering Pontypool | Monday to Friday | Full-time, Office-based | Competitive Salary | Permanent Our client, a medium-sized, privately owned civil engineering company based in Pontypool, is looking for an experienced Accounts Administrator to join their friendly and professional team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business in a varied and hands-on finance role. Key Responsibilities As Accounts Administrator, your day-to-day tasks will include: Recording, processing and matching purchase invoices. Reconciling supplier statements and assisting with regular account reconciliations. Preparing payment schedules, forecasts and processing payment runs. Handling supplier queries and maintaining good supplier relationships. Sending out tender documents and supporting the tendering process. Supporting weekly and monthly payroll processes for both direct and subcontract staff. Assisting with general accounts administration and office support duties as required. About You We're looking for someone who has: Proven experience in a similar finance or accounts administration role. Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage and Xero (essential). A good understanding of accounts payable and basic bookkeeping. Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills. The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
