Site Manager in Swindon Location: Swindon Rate: £275-£295 per shift Hours: 7.30 to 5pm Job Type: Temporary Duration: 30 weeks Job Description: Stridden Limited are recruiting for an established Principal Contractor, Fit Out, Carpentry and Joinery company who are currently looking for a Site Manager to join their team in Swindon. This commercial contract will include demolition, new build and refurbishment of an existing building. Site Manager Key Duties: Your role will involve: * Own the site from day one, coordinating trades, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure safe, efficient, and quality-focused delivery. * Drive works on site to meet key milestones. Sequence trades effectively, foresee delays, and keep everything on track without compromise on finish. * Champion best practices. Carry out inductions, maintain RAMS, and lead daily briefings and H&S audits. * Uphold exceptional standards across all finishes. Conduct inspections and snagging to ensure compliance with design intent and client expectations. * Act as the key site contact between subcontractors, the main contractor, and client representatives. Maintain clear communication and reporting at all times.
