Health and Safety Advisor - Devon

Girling Jones are delighted to be working with this civils and groundworks contractor to help procure a Health & Safety Advisor for their team in Devon Projects range in value from £200k - £10m in value and they specialise in working across all areas of groundworks and civil engineering for a repeat client base Reporting into the Health & Safety Manager, you'll be responsible for a portfolio of projects in and around the Exeter area. This role could suit an Assistant Site Manager or Site Supervisor who is looking to take their career into more of a H & S direction Day to Day Duties: Carry out risk assessments Outline safe operational procedures which identify and consider all relevant hazards Carry out regular site inspections to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented Attend quarterly meetings with the operational teams and management Record incidents and accidents Delivering PPE What do you need? 2 years experience within civil engineering, ideally in a H & S capacity NEBOSH CSCS Card (Essential) In return, not only will you be eligible for a highly competitive salary & package offering, but perhaps more importantly, you will be given the opportunity to join a well established and likeable team with a huge desire to drive business and deliver on their existing reputation
