Roofing Consultant

Please note: This is a part time position, with 2-3 days per week Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Roofing Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing roofing needs, providing expert advice on materials and techniques, and ensuring that all projects meet industry standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction and roofing, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients and contractors to deliver high-quality results. Responsibilities * Conduct thorough assessments of roofing systems to determine repair or replacement needs * Provide clients with detailed recommendations on roofing materials and solutions * Prepare schematics and project plans for roofing installations or repairs * Collaborate with construction teams to ensure proper implementation of roofing projects * Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment as necessary for roofing tasks * Perform heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs * Maintain a safe and organised work environment, adhering to all safety regulations * Offer guidance on related areas such as plumbing, masonry, and carpentry when necessary Experience * Proven experience in roofing or construction is essential * Familiarity with schematics and fabrication processes is highly desirable * Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to the roofing industry * Knowledge of welding techniques is an advantage * Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions * Experience in plumbing or masonry can be beneficial but is not mandatory We welcome applications from individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional service in the roofing sector.
