Legal Counsel (Employment) – UK & Ireland Operations Fixed-Term Contract – 9 Months (Maternity Cover) Hybrid Working – 2 Days Office-Based Join a values-driven organization where your legal expertise will directly support operational success and strategic growth across the UK and Ireland. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-level employment law advice and collaborate with HR and leadership teams to ensure compliance, manage risk, and foster a culture of integrity. Key Responsibilities Deliver clear, practical legal advice on employment law matters to internal stakeholders. Manage complex employee relations issues, including early conciliation, tribunal claims, and settlement agreements. Advise on TUPE, outsourcing, restructuring, redundancies, and industrial relations. Support implementation of new legislation and ensure compliant HR processes. Provide legal training to HR and business teams to promote awareness and best practices. Candidate Profile Qualified solicitor or barrister in the UK (or equivalent jurisdiction). Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in employment law. Strong drafting, negotiation, and legal analysis skills. Ability to balance legal risk with commercial insight. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
