H&S/CDM Consultant

A growing Construction Safety Consultancy are looking for you to become a Junior H&S/CDM Consultant, based out of their West Midlands office with fully flexible working. Contributing to and responsible for the delivery of CDM/H&S services, you will be involved with a variety of sectors including prestigious Residential and Commercial construction projects. You must have a foundation of construction safety or property/surveying/design experience and be willing to learn and develop. This is an exciting time to join a company with a strong order book and a financially robust spread of clients across multiple sectors. Based in the office with flexible and reporting into the central function, you will be: • Carrying out H&S specific design reviews throughout phases of the project • Managing multiple projects across a diverse portfolio • Conversant with design and construction processes and CDM 2015 • Collating Pre-Construction information and providing gap analysis • Performing site safety inspections You will have a key understanding of hazards associated with Building and Construction projects and feel comfortable liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure Health & Safety issues are addressed. You will also be: • NEBOSH-qualified or holding a degree in H&S/Design/Surveying/Construction Management • Experienced in CDM • A confident and astute communicator • A people person with dynamism and vibrancy • Experienced in working on diverse construction projects This is an excellent opportunity for you to become an integral part of a growing function within a fantastic employer.
