Senior Project Manager – Healthcare Location: London (Zone 2 projects) | Hybrid working Salary: £70,000–£90,000 (dependent on experience) The Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of major healthcare redevelopment and refurbishment schemes in London. Projects typically range between £50m–£70m and include estate redevelopments, major extensions, and portions of new build within live healthcare environments. The successful candidate will act as Account Lead, owning client relationships, advocating on their behalf, and ensuring successful project outcomes. You will be comfortable leading teams, managing stakeholders, and challenging contractors and suppliers when required. Responsibilities * Lead large-scale healthcare projects (£50m), acting as client-facing Account Lead. * Build and maintain trusted relationships with NHS Trusts and healthcare stakeholders. * Manage and mentor Project Managers within the team. * Administer NEC contracts. * Chair progress meetings and report on project performance. * Oversee procurement, risk management, and financial control of projects. * Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and governance standards. About You * Proven experience delivering major healthcare projects (redevelopment, refurbishment, or new build). * Strong consultancy or client-side background (contractor-only experience less preferred). * Hands-on experience administering NEC contracts. * Confident stakeholder manager with the ability to lead client accounts. * Track record of managing teams or mentoring PMs. * Professional qualification (MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB) desirable but not essential.
